Coldtill Crypto Payments

Coldtill Crypto Payments connects your EmDash site to Coldtill, a self-hosted crypto payment gateway that runs on your own server. Customers pay in USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron or 200+ other coins, straight to your own wallets. No processor holds or can freeze your funds.

Features

• Self-custody. On Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Tron and Solana each customer pays into a deposit contract that can only send to your cold wallet. Bitcoin goes to your own wallet's addresses.
• Products from your content. Products live in an EmDash collection (products by default) with a USD price field. The price is always read on the server, never taken from the browser.
• Hosted checkout. A Buy button sends the customer to your Coldtill checkout page.
• Signed webhooks. Orders update from HMAC-SHA256 webhooks with a timestamp and a five-minute replay window. Duplicates never apply twice.
• Missed-webhook recovery. When the customer comes back to your site, the storefront helper re-checks the payment with Coldtill.
• Safe by default. An order is only marked paid when the Coldtill reference and the amount match. Partial payments are held for you to settle.
• Orders page in the EmDash admin.

Getting started

1. Install Coldtill on your server (the Free edition installs with one command, see coldtill.com). It must be reachable over public https.
2. In Coldtill, create a project API key under API keys.
3. In this plugin's settings, enter your Coldtill URL and API key.
4. In Coldtill under Webhooks, add the webhook URL shown on the plugin's Coldtill orders page and paste its signing secret into the plugin settings.
5. Add a Buy button to your product pages with the storefront helper. See the README.

Prices are in USD. Coldtill cannot refund automatically: refunds are sent from your own wallet.
