DinkusKit Ship

DinkusKit Ship brings shipping-label work into your EmDash admin.

Choose a Commerce order, review its package and USPS rates, then create, print or cancel its test label. The hosted Ship service keeps the label records and reports tracking back to Commerce.

Sandbox postage only. Live postage is not enabled. Sandbox and practice labels are not valid postage and cannot be used to mail a parcel.

Commerce must be connected first. Ship is optional: Commerce can also record manual fulfillment and tracking without it. Ship does not manage product inventory or take customer payments.

Can I buy live USPS postage?

Not yet. The hosted service runs in sandbox mode. Sandbox and practice labels are not valid postage; do not use them to mail a parcel.

Do I need Commerce?

Yes. The current connection flow requires Commerce first, and Ship receives orders from it. Installing Ship does not build a storefront.

Does cancelling a label refund the customer's order?

No. Label cancellation, customer payment refunds and order cancellation are separate operations.

Does Ship manage stock?

No. Ship handles labels and reports tracking to Commerce; physical stock belongs to an inventory system.

1. Use an EmDash site with Registry sandbox support and a storefront integration.
2. Install and connect DinkusKit Commerce first.
3. Install DinkusKit Ship, open its Shipments page, and choose Connect. Approve the connection at DinkusKit.com.
4. Follow the Ship guide with a test order to review rates and create a sandbox or practice label.

Never mail a parcel with a label marked TEST, TEST SANDBOX or NOT POSTAGE. Live postage is not enabled.
