Overview
EscortFox Profile Link connects your EmDash site to your profile on EscortFox.
Once you paste your profile address into the plugin's settings page:
- every public page gets an
authorlink to your profile, and - your home page gets a schema.org
PersonorOrganizationentry whosesameAspoints to your profile.
Search engines use both signals to understand that your own site and your EscortFox profile belong to the same owner, which keeps your name, links and details consistent across the two.
The plugin makes no network requests, stores nothing but its two settings, and only accepts https://escortfox.com/ addresses.
Permissions
Plugins get only the capabilities they declare and you approve. Your EmDash admin lists these again before anything installs.
Installation
- Install EscortFox Profile Link from the Plugins screen in your EmDash admin.
- Open EscortFox Profile in the admin sidebar.
- Paste the full address of your EscortFox profile (it starts with
https://escortfox.com/), choose whether the site belongs to a person or a business, and click Save.
Your site's templates must include EmDash's <EmDashHead> component, which the default templates already do. Clear the profile address and save to remove the links again.
