Search for podcasts by topic, title, or publisher from your EmDash admin. View estimated listeners per episode, weekly listener estimates, Spotify followers, chart rankings, and the latest episode when available. Optional AI tools expose podcast search, podcast lookup, and API quota to your site's MCP clients. Requires your own API-enabled Rephonic account.

Security

Report security issues privately to support@rephonic.com. Include the plugin version, a description of the issue, and steps to reproduce it. Do not include API keys in a public report.

The plugin requests network access only to api.rephonic.com. It has no content, media, or user-directory capabilities. All routes require EmDash's plugins:manage permission, and MCP tools must be enabled separately by an administrator.

The Rephonic API key is declared as a secret setting and encrypted by EmDash. The plugin sends it only in the x-rephonic-api-key request header. Admin responses show whether a key exists and never return its value. API error bodies and network exception details are not exposed to the admin or AI tools.

Podcast searches and podcast lookups are sent to Rephonic under the connected account. The plugin does not persist search queries or results. Its saved API key is shared across the site's authorized plugin users.

Use Remove API key in Rephonic settings to clear the plugin's stored copy. To revoke the credential itself, manage it in your Rephonic account.

Install the plugin, grant network access to api.rephonic.com, and open Rephonic settings. Save the API key from https://rephonic.com/account and test the connection. Open Podcast search to begin. Administrators can separately enable the plugin's AI tools in EmDash.
