An independent plugin by Mason James for simple contact forms. Build one-page forms with text, email, textarea, select and checkbox fields. Review, archive, delete and export submissions. Notifications use EmDash’s configured email transport, including SMTP. Submission records exclude raw IP addresses. The source repository is private; the installable bundle is publicly downloadable.
Faq
Does a registry install add a form renderer to my pages? No. The optional native companion supplies server-rendered Astro and Portable Text components and must be installed in site configuration. Existing native Contact Forms data is not automatically copied into the registry installation. No uploads, multi-page flows, webhooks, CAPTCHA or autoresponders are included.
Installation
Install Contact Forms from the EmDash registry on EmDash 1.0.1 or newer with a sandbox runner. Create a form in Plugins > Forms. To embed it in content, install @masonjames/emdash-contact-forms and register contactFormsEmbedPlugin() from its registry-embed export, then build and deploy the site. Insert a Contact Form block and copy its form ID from the Forms page. Configure an EmDash email transport for notifications.
