Does a nonempty alt pass accessibility checks?

No. Review its meaning manually. Empty alt can be correct for decorative images.

Why does an empty own alt show text?

The standard resolver falls back to the saved inline asset alt. Whitespace is preserved. The current media-library record is not fetched.

Why are my latest edits absent?

Save first, then explicitly re-review. Published entries use live data and exclude pending edits. A changed or missing saved revision fails safely.

Does it inspect every image on the page?

No. Only standard top-level image/gallery slots in the selected saved Portable Text field. Featured, theme, HTML, nested custom and other fields are excluded or marked partial.

Can I copy or automatically fix the results?

Select and copy the entire plain Code report manually. Edit with the native image/gallery controls and save. There is no automatic patch or clipboard access.

Why can access or a large report fail?

Host role, owner, token scope and CSRF checks intersect. Input, slot, metadata, report and Blocks bounds all apply; combined maxima can exceed the output budget. No earlier or truncated report is returned.

Private editor panel only. Required reads: content:read, schema:read, broad content:revisions:read. This implementation requests only the current draft pointer once and performs no history listing. The host supplies trusted entry identity; the private 16 KiB JSON POST also requires content:edit_own_drafts, owner/edit-any authorization, CSRF and token scopes.

No content/media write, public route, network, storage, image fetch, telemetry or clipboard access. Output allowlists exclude URLs/captions/arbitrary metadata. Controls and bidi values use reversible JSON literals. A final identity/version/status/pointer fence detects observed concurrent changes, not atomic snapshot isolation. Invalid or oversized results remove the whole report. Report vulnerabilities to contact@lx3.cafe.

Install and review

Install and enable LLL Saved Image Alt Review in EmDash 1.4. Open an entry you can edit. Expand Saved Image Alt Review / 保存画像alt点検, choose one saved Portable Text field and English or Japanese, then explicitly review.

Check the reported live/draft source, coverage and slot positions. Edit image alt using the normal image toolbar or gallery settings, save the entry, and review again. Unsaved typing is excluded; published entries exclude pending edits. Select and copy the full Code report manually.

This is a scoped saved-data review, not image understanding, a whole-page scan or a quality/accessibility pass. Empty alt may be appropriate. Unknown shapes remain partial. The revision read permission is broad although this implementation fetches only the current draft pointer, never history. No content/media writes, storage, network, public route or clipboard API is used. See the bundled README for exact bounds, owner permissions and snapshot limitations.
