Overview
Add the checks a team needs between writing and publishing: approval before an entry goes live, a review queue, an editorial calendar, and scheduled unpublishing for content that expires. An approval covers the exact version that was reviewed, so an edit after approval needs a new review.
Free and EmDash Pro
The free version includes:
- one required approval before an entry in a chosen collection is published or scheduled
- an editor panel on every entry: request review, approve, approve and publish
- a review queue page and an "Awaiting review" dashboard widget
- an editorial calendar in your time zone
- scheduled unpublishing, and email notifications through the site's email provider
EmDash Pro is coming soon. It is not on sale yet, so this release has no license key field and makes no license checks. These are the features an EmDash Pro key unlocks in this plugin. The EmDash Pro page lists them for every Pinnacle plugin, and you can ask us there to tell you when it goes on sale.
- two to five required approvals, and named approvers per collection
- scheduled field changes, each approved before it runs
- expiry that moves the entry to the trash, and a reminder email before expiry
- a daily digest email for approvers
The free version does not depend on EmDash Pro and keeps working as it is.
