Overview
Publish SEO articles from RanklyBee straight into your EmDash site.
RanklyBee researches keywords, writes and fact-checks long-form articles, and publishes them on a schedule. This plugin gives RanklyBee a signed webhook on your site, so approved articles arrive as EmDash entries with their title, excerpt, SEO title and description, and the full body converted to Portable Text (headings, lists, quotes, code, images and tables).
- Signed requests only. Every request is checked with HMAC-SHA256 and a five-minute timestamp window before anything is written.
- No duplicates. Republishing an article updates the entry it created the first time.
- Your publishing mode. Save as draft, publish now, or schedule, as chosen in RanklyBee.
- Any collection. Defaults to the
postscollection of the blog template; pick another collection and field names in the settings page.
The plugin makes no outbound requests and stores only the mapping from RanklyBee articles to EmDash entries.
Permissions
Plugins get only the capabilities they declare and you approve. Your EmDash admin lists these again before anything installs.
Security
The publish route is public so RanklyBee can reach it, and it rejects any request without a valid HMAC-SHA256 signature made with your secret and a timestamp within five minutes. The secret is stored as an encrypted EmDash setting. The plugin needs content:write to create and update entries and content:publish to publish or schedule them; it declares no network access.
Report security issues to support@ranklybee.com.
