VCompliance is an automated WCAG 2.2 AA and ADA Section 508 accessibility compliance scanner engineered specifically for EmDash CMS websites.

Maintained by Veduis, VCompliance operates natively within EmDash's sandboxed environment to audit HTML content for web accessibility violations.

Key Capabilities

• WCAG 1.1.1 Non-Text Content: Audits all <img> elements for missing alt attributes, placeholder strings, and invalid file extensions.
• WCAG 1.3.1 Info and Relationships: Enforces hierarchical heading structure (h1 through h6) and flags skipped heading levels.
• WCAG 2.4.4 Link Purpose: Flags ambiguous anchor text (such as "click here", "read more") and empty links lacking accessible names.
• WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value: Validates accessible names and aria-labels for form fields, input controls, and interactive buttons.
• WCAG 1.3.1 Data Tables: Checks table headers (<th>) to ensure proper column and row header relationships.

Trust Contract & Privacy

VCompliance runs inside EmDash's secure workerd sandbox isolate. It performs static analysis in memory with zero external network dependencies, no tracking, and no external data harvesting.

Installation

Install VCompliance directly into your EmDash project:
