Wanderwalk London Walks

Wanderwalk is a GPS audio guide for iPhone. It plays each story when you reach the place it happened, across 37 self-guided walks in London, including free walks such as Camden Black History and Bankside at Work.

This plugin helps London blogs, local history groups, hotels and venues point readers to a good walk nearby:

• an admin page to choose a featured walk from the full list, with area, stops and time
• a dashboard widget showing the featured walk
• an optional Smart App Banner for iPhone visitors
• schema.org TouristTrip structured data on the pages you choose
• a public JSON route with walk data, and a copy-ready Astro snippet for a walk card

It asks for no permissions, stores only its own settings and makes no network requests.

Does the plugin track visitors? No. It has no network access and stores nothing about visitors.

Can I show more than one walk? Yes. Call the public route with ?slug= for each walk you want.

Which walks are free? Camden Black History and Bankside at Work. Other walks need Wanderwalk+.

1. Install the plugin from the Registry section of your EmDash admin.
2. Open Plugins, then London walks, and choose a featured walk.
3. Optionally turn on the iPhone banner and list the pages that describe the walk.
4. To show a walk card, paste the snippet from the admin page into an Astro template.

The banner and structured data need your theme to include <EmDashHead>.
